Here I am six years old, waiting for the bus. This was the biggest, most important day of my life. I start kindergarten today. I have been waiting for this moment since I knew what kindergarten was. My family surrounds me, as I wait anxiously, for the big yellow bus to approach. I give my family a huge hug, as if it was the last time I was ever going to see them, little did I know that they would be at the school waiting for me to arrive. I noticed the bus coming over the hill. I quickly put my backpack said goodbye again, and hoped on the bus. The bus driver, a older man, said hello to me as I got on. I don't know anyone on this bus, it is jammed packed, and I just want to sit alone. I glance towards the back, and notice an open seat. I sit down and look at the window at my parents, they wave to me and I wave back. The bus continues on its route. "Hey little girl, hey little girl, are you smoking a cigarette?" The kids that were sitting behind me kept asking me this. I just ignored them till we got to school. This experience affected me, I never wanted to ride the bus again.
